VIVALDI BASSOON CONCERTI VOLUME I [2012]

The extraordinary autograph collection of 39 bassoon concerti by Antonio Vivaldi provides a journey of a lifetime, and I intend to visit every stop on this incredible ride. As I ponder the unknown virtuoso who inspired Vivaldi to create this treasure, I dedicate this project to the young bassoonists of our time and invite them to claim this repertoire as their own, and to play with all the glory that is possible when we set our sights high enough from the very beginning.
