Dragon Fight - Ink on mulberry paper

I made many large ink drawings on scrolls of mulberry paper and these were used mostly in large, multi-media collages combining other papers, gold leaf, beeswax and more. . . many of works have sold to private collectors. I also used them as the decorative inside part of very large book covers of photo albums that I made to document my family's life, and some day I will write a blog about those book-making techniques. 

Mulberry paper is very strong yet translucent, so when collaged with either glue or beeswax, the colours and textures of the background will show through.

This drawing is called Dragon Fight and if you peer at it, you can see four somewhat Chinese dragons brandishing their jaws at one another. 

Suitable for framing, possibly on a gold leaf background or any colour of your choice. You could also scrunch it up into a ball then smooth out again, and it will probably still look amazing. Just a thought.
